Amelia K Hausauer, M.D., FAAD

Dr. Hausauer is an innovator and author in the world of PRP. She has spearheaded several research trials on these subjects, including as the principle investigator for a study examining PRP in the treatment of male and female pattern hair loss. She lectures and teaches hands-on sessions, training other healthcare providers on the intricacies of PRP. As a thought leader, Dr. Hausauer is the chief editor of and contributor to the medical textbook, PRP and Microneedling in Aesthetic Medicine. She has served as an investigator on FDA trials for Allergan, Merz Aesthetics, Revance Therapeutics, and ThermiGen LLC. Dr. Hausauer is active not only as private practice board-certified dermatologist in the Silicon Valley, but also in research, program development and consulting.
